Christ is Born!! Glorify Him!!

Awhile ago, there were some links to Orthodox Christian caskets here. There was a link to a man (think he is a priest) in the southern U.S. who made them by hand. also some other links.

Does anyone remember where they are?

Also links to Orthodox shrouds. I noticed one on the remains of Archimandrite Joasaph at his burial at Holy Trinity Monastery this past month.

Thanks,

BOB

Father George Brooks of the All Saints of America Orthodox Mission [allsaintsofamerica.com] in DeQueen, Arkansas, makes old-style pine coffins with Orthodox modifications.

The coffins [stmarksworkshop.com] come with a three-bar cross and Trisagion Prayer on the outside. Until one is ready to use the coffin for burial, it can also be used to display icons or store books.

Father George also makes other wooden items for home and church use, which are listed on the St. Mark's Workshop web site [stmarksworkshop.com].

Shrouds such as the one used for the burial of Archimandrite Joasaph can be purchased on eBay. Here [cgi.ebay.com] is a current listing as an example; this particular seller has offered the shrouds in black and in white. I do not know the direct source in Russia.
