Shlomo Lkhoolkhoon,

For those that deny that the Russian Orthodox Church has suborned itself to the Russian State, then no amount of evidence will convince you because you will always claim it is propaganda. To many organizations on the Left, the Middle and the Right have documented the violations of human rights by the Russian Government for it to be merely propaganda. Further, as Stuart has pointed out, nowhere do you see the Russian Orthodox Church speaking out against the Russian Governments violations of human rights.

Let us just take Georgia for example. Russia in violation of international law has supported terrorists and successionists in that nation. Look to what both offical and NGO reports have to say.

While some criticism leveled against Russia is at least in part merited let us not forget the socialist, anti-constitution, abortionist agenda of the current US government.

Christ is in our midst!!

I'm closing this thread because it has served its purpose and seems to be drifting off into an unChristian exchange.

It seems to me that only the Good Lord when He comes will determine who is His servant and who is not. It won't be nations; it'll be people that He finds where He finds them--people who have been open to the Spirit and ordered their lives after His promptings.

Debates about countries never end and no one ever wins. There is bad and good in every country and every people...and yes, that scale sometimes tips off balance here and there.

So let's be careful with this thread. If you want lots of nationalistic hate mongering and wild conspiracy theories against every country imaginable, by every nationality imaginable, I have heard that there is a forum over at Pravda that will provide just that!!
