CIX!

I'm traveling through Williamsburg this weekend and was thinking about attending services at Annunciation Byzantine Catholic Church. I called to check on service times already, but was looking for more information online. Does anyone know anything about the parish? I can't find a helpful website anywhere.

Many thanks.

Mark,

This is our directory entry for the parish. Not a lot of info (and they have no website of which I'm aware), but it does have times. If you go there, take a camera, I'd love to have an exterior and interior photo to illustrate the entry. I've seen a black and white photo of the iconostasis (hand-carved by a parishioner of blessed memory) in the Metropolia's 75th anniversary directory and it is beautiful.

Many years,

Neil

I was just there last Thanksgiving for Divine Liturgy. It is very beautiful inside. I will try to remember to take some pictures the next time I visit. You can call the priest for information. He will return your call if you leave a message.

They used to have a website but it seems to have disappeared, at least from Google listings. The parish is actually Ascension of our Lord (not Annunciation). This may help. Being a roller coaster nut, I've visited Ascension numerous times and always enjoyed Liturgy there.

Larry,

The website is gone. If memory serves, it may have been a victim (with a lot of others) of the shutdown of either AOL's Hometown or Yahoo's Geocities.

Many years,

Neil
