While Leonard Servat won't ring bells, any here who post or once did at CAF might very likely recognize the name Brotherhrolf, the nick he used there. Leonard was a Latin Catholic gentleman from New Orleans with an avocation for calligraphy and manuscript illumination and a deep interest in iconography. He reposed in the Lord last week after a brief illness.
Prayers for his family and friends and may his memory be eternal.
"One day all our ethnic traits ... will have disappeared. Time itself is seeing to this. And so we can not think of our communities as ethnic parishes, ... unless we wish to assure the death of our community."

Dear Neil, you are such a true friend to forums and many posters--regarding posters as brothers and sisters in Christ rather than just anonymous typers of thoughts. God bless you for that.
In Christ, Alice
