I'm wondering if this medal is used and valued among Eastern Catholics and our Orthodox brethren. Although it's form originates within the Latin tradition, I am aware that St. Benedict is revered and invoked among both Catholics and Orthodox, as he is (I believe) a pre-schism saint.

May the Lord grant the reconciliation and re-union of our Churches through his intercession.

For those unfamiliar with the Jubilee Medal, www.osb.org/gen/medal.html [osb.org]
can be consulted.

I don't have the jubilee medal, but I do wear the regular one, and even for the properties normally prescribed to it.

I'm Orthodox, BTW.
