I have been working on an Ion in the Orthodox tradition and streaming live on Ustream. If you have the time to stop by and say please do. I write pray and talk about icons and the techniques I use. Here is the link if you want to stop by. It is fairly boring but I have some liturgical music on to keep my prayer focused. http://www.ustream.tv/channel/orthodox-iconography

Nice work! I'd see if you can adjust the camera angle slightly (no need to see your hair).

I really enjoyed watching you work and listening to your commentary. Thank you for putting this live on line! I guess there's no way to avoid the annoying ads?

Very nice, Praetor. I watched a bit and will be viewing more.

Praetor,

Although I've yet to be able to view any of these live, I'm almost caught up on viewing them after the fact. Very intriguing and interesting. Thank you for sharing these.

Neil

I logged on yesterday briefly "live". I didn't realize earlier segments were archived. Thanks for pointing that out, Neil! smile

I am streaming live now.

I haven't recorded all the segments but I am trying to remember.

I am glad you have stopped by for a visit. I am sorry I don't have a more set schedule. On our way into Advent and the season I have a lot of Icons I need to finish.

I was really trying to set up a schedule in which I would work on this icon but unfortunately it is way too hard with my schedule. I have been granted time tonight to work and if the prayer is right might even finish the Theotokos and Our Lord.

Stop by for a prayer, some Eastern Liturgical music and information about writing an icon.
