This evening, at my work, a couple of hundred people learned that Beverly, our beloved long-time department secretary and friend to everyone, had died. She successfully fought cancer for years and everyone thought she'd win again, but the Lord decided she had suffered enough. Bev was one of those rare persons about whom absolutely no one ever had a bad thing to say and, throughout the building, people cried unabashedly at the news.

Please remember her in your prayers.

Lord, You have taken the soul of Your handmaiden from this earth, lead her to a place of light and love, where there is neither pain nor suffering, but only life everlasting.

May her memory be eternal.
