Christ is Born!! Glorify Him!!

In your charity, please offer a prayer for my wife, Loretta. She awoke Saturday morning with extreme dizziness, has not been able to stand much, cannot lie down, and has been nauseous to the point she has been able to take very little food.

Lord Jesus Christ, Who alone art our Defender, speedily from on high visit Thy suffering handmaid, Loretta, delivering her from this present sickness and bitter pains; calm her fears; and raise her up from this trial that she may sing to Thee and praise Thee without ceasing. Through the prayers of hte Mother of God, O Thou Who alone lovest mankind, hear and answer my plea. Amen.

She's the love of my life. Thanks,

Bob

Prayers for Loretta's restoration to health, that this illness pass quickly, and that God grant her many years.

Dear brother in Christ, Bob,

I am so sorry to hear this...
Perhaps the stress of the season, of the weather, of work, etc. has taken a toll on her health...
Please be assured of my earnest prayers for Loretta. May the Lord heal her quickly, Amen!

I plan to light a candle in front of the icon of the Theotokos for her today; and ask Father Daniel to place a particle on the diskos for her, as well.

Christ is Born!!

A little update:

Loretta seems to be suffering from some sort of vertigo, though the exact cause is as yet undiscovered. She now has some medication to combat the dizziness, but it's still a scary thing. Last night she got up from the chair next to me and collapsed on the floor. Her BP was 93/36 which I think is dangerously low. Today BP was more normal at her office visit, but we're still watching this whole thing.

Prayers for the restoration to health of Loretta, that the conditions afflicting her be properly diagnosed and treated, that their effects be abated, and that God grant her many more years. Prayers also for the well-being of my beloved brother and friend, Bob.

A referral to an ear/nose/throat specialist is in the works.

Thank God for each of you and thank you.

Bob
