Please pray for the blessed repose of the soul of +MOTHER NADIA BARANIK, MSMG, (of the Missionary Sisters of the Mother of God) on the corner of Franklin and Brown Streets in Philadelphia, one city block from the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. +Mother Nadia fell asleep in the Lord on Friday, January 21, 2011 at Hahnemann Hospital in Philadelphia, after a brief illness. Her prayerful demeanor, together with her loving and joyful nature will be deeply missed.
Viewing will be on Wednesday, January 26th from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. with a Parastas at 6 p.m. at the Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Philadelphia.
On Thursday, January 27th, viewing from 9 a.m. to 9:45 a.m.; a celebration of Panakhyda at 9:45 a.m.; Divine Liturgy celebrated at 10:00 a.m. at the Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. Interment will be at Our Lady of Sorrows Cemetery in Langhorne, PA
Prayers and sympathy are extended to all the Missionary Sisters of the Mother of God, in both Philadelphia,PA and Stamford,CT.
May +Mother Nadia's memory be eternal! Vichnaya Pamyat!

May the Lord forgive her of any sins and welcome her to everlasting life. Eternal memory!

I assume that there is no problem with sharing the prayer request on my blog as she held a public position in the church, but if you know of any reasons, please let me know.
