"The Way" has published an article about Greek Catholics celebrating Divine Liturgy in Singapore.

Anyone has any info where in Singapore the Divine Liturgy is celebrated? Address and time is well appreciated. I have a friend living there and I've been telling him about the Divine Liturgy and he doesn't know if there is one in Singapore

No, there is no regular Greek Catholic Divine Liturgy in Singapore. It is only when a Greek Catholic (or biritual) priest passes through Singapore that we invite him to celebrate liturgy.

That being said, we would love to be in contact with your friend living in Singapore. We could certainly keep him informed as and when something comes up.

Okay, I will ask him. But keep me posted through this thread or message me here.

Hopefully Eastern Catholicism would spread in South East Asia. My dream is to have an EC parish in the Philippines. There is already Antiochian Orthodox parishes there.

Constantine,

Your friend is certainly welcome to join up here and, as our brother Ernest suggested, get in contact with our contingent of South East Asian and South Pacific Eastern Catholics, Orthodox, and Latins with a love for the East.

We're rightfully quite proud of the lot of them and very much value their active participation here. (It's not hard to remember a few years back when they were only 2 or 3 in number; they've come a long way!)

Many years,

Neil

Constantine, keep me posted as well. I'm currently working with one or two people to get something started in Indonesia.
