Where can I get an Icon of Pope John Paul II?
We are using Alexander Roman's Akathist to Pope John Paul II on the day of his beatification and would love to have an icon of him at our parish.

Here's one and it's currently on sale: http://www.bridgebuilding.com/narr/nmjop.html

Here's another: http://www.articles-religieux.ca/en...n-Paul-II-8-x-10-20-x-255-cm/IC079B.aspx

I like the first one better though.

I have no skill as a writer of icons, but I would expect to see an icon of Our Lady of Czestochowa somewhere to his upper left or right.

Hmm. For me it looks like "ho hagios" ("saint") on the left and "Io Paulos" ("John Paul") on the right.

My husband has written an icon of Pope John Paul II. If you email him at andrew@aiconsonline.com he can email to you a picture of the icon and order one from him.

Thanks
