As we did last year, our Melkite scouts and youth band will lead the Palm Sunday procession after the Divine Liturgy. The Copts (Orthodox), Antiochian and Greek Orthodox, Maronites, and others will join us at various street corners as we bring two whole suburbs to a halt, marching, chanting, and singing for unity.
We finish at the Maronite High School (lycée) for some more singing, and hopefully to be blessed by several of the bishops and eparchs.

It was a wonderful success last year, although very hot. This year we're in danger of rain, so please keep us in your prayers. I'll post some photos after the celebrations.

Well, we made an article in Sydney's top newspaper, which is rather nice in today's secular world.

See it here: Holding Peace in the Palms of their Hands [smh.com.au] .

We had thousands take part, and the police were very kind closing streets on either side, only allowing each church's procession to come through and join us on the main road.

It was a very moving and prayerful experience!
(And the scout and youth group band were brilliant!)

The Eparchy and all of the Churches participating should be proud that they so publicly displayed their faith!

Many years,

Neil
