Regarding the Ukrainian Catholic patriarchate, here is an old favorite.

May God grant the Archimandrite Robert many years!

The ugcc web-site in Ukraine has announced that the DVDs have been produced. Now does anyone know how one may obtain these DVDs?

Father Serge, the UGCC website in Ukraine in Ukrainian states that the DVDs will only start to appear in Ukrainian parishes in Ukraine only in large cities (Lviv, Kyiv, Ternopil, Ivano-Frankivsk) starting on this "Kvitna Nedilia" or "Palm Sunday". By Easter next week they are to be made available in parishes all through Ukraine. The UGCC site says to follow for further information, so I guess we shall see them become available outside of Ukraine after Easter.

I devoutly hope that you are correct. But it would not have been asking to much for the ugcc to put such a statement on the web site in plain language.

Я розумію і говорю по-українский. Чи ви не вмієте писати по-український?

Yes, that is the correct Ukrainian Easter Greeting:

Христос Воскрес! (Khrystos Voskres) = Christ Is Risen !

Response:

Воїстину Воскрес! (Voyeestynu Voskres) = Indeed, He is Risen !

Thank you. I'd already posted it to the parish website, so it's good it turned out to be right.

I can speak directly to that, Father.

I've said it before, and will say it again: celibacy is the *only* reason I never sought to enroll in the seminary.

I nearly married the first time I was close, and did marry the second time.

There is *at least* one less Catholic priest as a dierect consequence of celibacy.
