Yeah that line doesn’t fly in Ulster with the Loyalists…

While I am late to this Thread, I hope the Happy Couple well, and that God may guide them! I especially liked Prince Williams Prayer!

God Save the Prince and his Bride the Duchess of Cambridge!

Am I mistaken, didn't I see one female bishop dressed in a ornate "cope" standing in the receiving line or whatever it was at the entrance to the abbey?

That would most likely be:

The Reverend Jane Hedges, Canon of Westminster

Jane Hedges is Canon Steward of the Abbey, taking responsibility for our ministry of welcome to over one million visitors and pilgrims each year. In line with our Benedictine tradition she is also responsible for making sure the Abbey offers generous hospitality to our guests and she oversees the work of the Abbey gardeners.

In the past she has served as a Team Rector and Rural Dean in Honiton, as a Residentiary Canon at Portsmouth Cathedral, as Stewardship Adviser in the Diocese of Portsmouth, as Team Vicar and Hospital Chaplain in Southampton and Curate in Fareham.
