I see what you are saying.. the reason I go to the Latin parish is because my spirituality is more Roman Catholic... especially the Tridentine Latin Mass
The answer is simple- Then just be a Latin Catholic. One doesn't need to change rites to do so. We have many
officially Latin rite Catholics who are
members of our Byzantine Catholic Parish and have no intention of making the official change of rite. They follow our fasting rules, holy days, ect. No piece of paper is going to stop them from being Byzantine Catholics. So just attend your parish and be happy worshiping God as best suits you, which you say is the Latin Catholic way.
