Hi again!
While I'm at it, where can I purchase an ikon (laminate on wood) of the Holy Martyrs of Pratulin? I've seen a copy of one on a Website, the martyrs in traditional Ukrainian shirts. That's the one I want.
Thanks, Chris

Welcome, Chris, You might try the Icon and Book Service in Washington, DC. It is operated by the Monastery of the Holy Cross, of the Ukrainian Catholic Church. http://www.iconbook.org/index.html 1-800-ASK-ICON / 1-800-275-4566 Phone: 1-202-526-6061 FAX: 1-202-526-3316 email: ikonbook@aol.com

CHRIST IS BAPTIZED! GLORIFY HIM!
CHRISTOS ROZDAJETSJA! SLAVITE JEHO!
Hi Chtec!
I was at the IKON AND BOOK SERVICE and they don't have the ikon of the Holy Martyrs.
Elaine at the bookstore will be more than happy to order the ikon for you if you can supply her with a source.
I've been trying to find a copy of the ikon of St. John Kocurov and she won't order one unless I can give her the source.
Don't get me wrong, the IKON AND BOOK SERVICE is a VERY valuable resource. Unfortunately, they are VERY limited in space.
They're having their "after" Christmas sale on cards, CD's and other things. If you live close by, stop in and see what they have or go on line and take a look too!

Dear Ung-Certez, It depends which Calendar one is on, doesn't it? However, "Christ is Born" is perfectly legitimate for the Feast of the Theophany. It was, after all, the original Christmas Day of the entire Church, something that only the Armenians continue to observe. Alex
