Glory to Jesus Christ!
At the ordination last night, His Grace Bishop Gerald announced that Fr. Diodoro (Axios!) will have his first assignment as parochial vicar at the Cathedral in Phoenix.

I read somewhere, maybe the facebook status of one of our Ruthenian clergy, that Fr. Diodoro is the first Italo-Greek priest ordained in 110 years. I presume by this he means that Fr. Diodoro's ministry will some day predominantly focus on the needs of the Italo-Greek Catholc communities in the eparchy.

I believe that Fr. Diodoro's home parish is the Italo-Greek Catholic parish in Las Vegas.
