Glory to Jesus Christ!

Below is a link to a paper by Bishop Samuel Aquila of the Diocese of Fargo, given as a lecture on June 24th in Mundelein, Il. It discusses why the practice of confirming teenagers is not correct, and the necessity of returning to the proper order of the admistration of the Sacraments of Initation.

In Christ,
Adam

Confirmation both in name and practice seems similar to what the Lutherans practice and I wonder how much, if any, influence the Reformation had on this Sacrament?
