He is in the hospital with extremely low BP. Our daughters Crowning is tomorrow and he can't be there. In Feb. When she and Lenny were engaged, he asked them to hurry. His health has not been good for a while, and he wanted to see them crowned before he got worse. Well I never thought it would come to this.
Be still my soul and trust in God!
Thanks in advance. I just don't know about anything for sure anymore. He sleeps all the time now. Only God knows.

Prayers for the health and well-being and the recovery of Deacon Stan who so faithfully serves our Melkite parish in Birmingham. Prayers too for our beloved sister, Pani Rose, as she struggles with the issues of his health, and for their daughter and son-in-law to be who will be crowned today, that their union be blessed and that God grant them many years.
"One day all our ethnic traits ... will have disappeared. Time itself is seeing to this. And so we can not think of our communities as ethnic parishes, ... unless we wish to assure the death of our community."

All of you, you made Sunday & their crowning happen without a hitch, + a miracle! No deacon didn't get out of the hospital, BUT  Fr. Michael Wrigley had been with him and ask the Lord to make a way for him to see the wedding. About that same time in the Church Fr Deacon Seraphim came in saying "if only someone had an iPad and an iPhone - ok, I'll never complain about this iPad again - I had it with me! Dr. Adam Balog doing the pictures had right iPhone because his old one had taken a swim in the ocean. Within about 40 minutes, they had the iPad loaded with what it needed, and Annette Zarzaur Ritchey, Fr Deacon Seraphims wife took it to the hospital, to him. HE SAW THE CROWNING IN THE IPAD!!! Even the nurses watched it, they took turns coming in, they were all so excited. Thank you Fr. Deacon John Seraphim Ritchey, Dr. Adam, & Annette Zarzaur . Most of all thank you Jesus! His white count is still high, it might be his body can't fight it. they got him up for rehab and his BP bottomed out again, so he is sleeping. They are going to do an MRI on his left foot in the morning. God is good!

Prayer help please!
We had a beautiful time of prayer this evening with Fr. Michael and Meredith. We saw Deacon being healed. It was amazing to say the least.
He is having a pretty rough go of things. His BP is not working right, neither is his sugar, so the meds aren't either. Neither is the dialysis. Grumble, grumble,grumble! So he had a little sore on his foot, now it is a big sore, along with a pressure wound. Today they did some more test.
The hospitalist told us because there is very little circulation, it is not going to get better, and they may want to remove his left foot. I just don't know. Right now I am not stressed and just kind of abandoned things to God.
I pray by morning it is all healed, and it blows their mind.

Prayers for Deacon Stan's well-being and recovery and prayers, also, for his family, especially our sister, Rose (who - in the midst of these concerns about her beloved husband - selflessly took it upon herself to seek out assistance for her priest, who is himself ailing, when he travels to Boston next month for Bishop Nicholas Samra's enthronement).

Prayers for Fr Deacon Stan - of whom Our Lord is asking so much . My he receive healing , comfort and be sustained in the knowledge that he is loved by God.
