Hello!

Is anyone aware of a thorough source on the iconography of Old Testament figures? I mean with precise names of the various garments they wear, discussions of the colors where need be, etcetera.

There doesn't seem to be much out there ... their attributes differ greatly from the Christian figures, about whom much more is written, so it's been tough.

If anyone can point to explicit sources on Moses, Isaiah, Solomon, David, Elijah, and/or Daniel, I would be much obliged.

The best resource I can think of right off is the "Painter's Manual" of Dionysios of Fourna He gives many discriptions of different icons, although he more often assumes you have have a model to copy from, so he does not generally give much detail about the appearance of popular or famous saints (he does with lesser known saints of the Synaxarion...)

I do have that book, and although excellent, doesn't give much in the way of detail on these figures, or the proper names for some of their clothing and attributes.

Not much out there on the OT folks, it seems.
