As in America you have everything, has it ever existed a Byzantine priest action figure?

You can buy 1/6-scale (12-inch) articulated male action figure bodies, as well as individual heads (many with beards). It's then just a matter of finding someone who can sew the vestments. Other accessories, such as hand cross, pectoral cross, engolpion, mitre, staff, etc. can be made using vacuform or sand casting kits.

I just saw an Orthodox Schema-Nun action figure posted elsewhere the other day - seriously.
Many years,

Man o Manaschevitz; many thanks for this type of post adolescent musing. Now here's a topic - and an absolutely surreal image - that not only doesn't overly tax my pea-brain intellectual prowess, but has me scratching my skull in an amused act of 'whaaaa and whyfore?' Let's play this action figure universe out- respectfully of course. We know his basic superpowers, I'd hope, but a comic book cosmology needs some sort of swanky and tangible show of superpower huzzah. An articulate action figure also needs and articulated plot line.
What would these type of super powers be?
Mild mannered parish priest by day and....?
A meet up with the Green Goblin, The Joker, Christopher Hitchens, et al...how the heck might that play out?
Forget they pyrohy, candy, and bakesale fundraisers; this could be big, big BIG!!!

Is this a take-off on the Bobblehead figure a priest in the Lastin diocese of Erie recently presented to their retiring bishop? Guess it was so popular they're taking orders.
But I think there's a danger here. When we trivialize something sacred, we lose something. A priest is configured to Christ by ordination. To make an image of a priest as a plaything somehow makes me pause. No one has dared to make a rabbi action figure or an imam action figure. Why do we seem to think less of our religious leaders?

Bob Please forgive me if posting that picture was offensive to anyone or disrespectful. At the time I felt it was innocent. Lord have mercy

I have a collection of exquisite dolls (not action figures) from Russia that include a priest, an archimandrite, a monk and a bishop. The attention to detail in the stitching of the vestments is indicative of great love, not trivialization.
As for the utility of action figures, lots of Roman Catholic kids grew up "playing Mass", and more than a few ended up as priests. Action figures--even Lego figures, can be a gateway that opens up this aspect of the Church to young boys.

First, I am not sure that there are not action figures of rabbi's or iman's since I haven't been looking for them. There may be just as many as there are of Byzantine priests. Second, I presume that anyone reading this blog is sophisticated enough to understand the difference between humorous and other less desirable intentions. Please, lighten up.

Thanks for the reminder. I needed that today. I'm just cranky in my second week of therapy for an auto accident injury. Bob
