Our county fair was this week just past and my 12yo daughter got a first place for her 4H project on horse breeds, and a second place for her feline anatomy exhibit. 10yo son won second place for his canine anatomy exhibit, and his two Red Star pullets "Oregano" and "Barbecue" won first and second place respectively in their class in the poultry show. He raised the pullets from week-old peeps.

Wow! That is an accomplish. Inthis busy world we often forget how much the 4H and their dedicated families teach young America. THANK YOU,

My sis in law was always in with 4H when the kids were young. I think she is raising two lamas. She sent a picture of them in the back of her van the other day. That sure won't last long. They are so sweet!
