Thank you all so much for your love and prayers. He is stable now, the bleeding is stopped. We have to meet the surgeon and some other doctors today to see where he is going. Ultimately it is home to heaven. Whether his journey is close to finished, I don't know for sure. I guess if someone comes in he doesn't want to acknowledge, as he has little communication ability, he is having seizures, he'll start singing "deo, doe, daylight come and I wanna go home. Beam me up Lord!". He is watching and waiting. His eyes have this amazing clear blue to them, that no one can explain...1Cor 12 says we see through a mirror dimly now, but soon we will see clearly, face to face. I can't help but believe he has seen through the mirror. I am out of the hospital and can breath again . Thanks be to God! God bless you all! Rose

Prayers for Deacon Stan, who has served the Lord and our Melkite parish of St George for many years with great devotion. If Our Lord is indeed reaching out for him and the time is near that he serve at the Holiest Table, may he be spared futther suffering and peacefully move on to a place where there is neither suffering nor sighing, but only life everlasting.
Prayers for our beloved sister and friend, Pani Rose, that she and all of their family be comforted in these days of uncertainty by the knowledge of Deacon Stan's love for them now and always.

Glory to Jesus Christ! Sitting here in my husbands room watching the sunrise, it must have been so beautiful that Easter morning. There is no easy way to say this, but we are waiting on the Lord to move. They have stopped all treatments, and are only giving him a morphine drip and antibiotics. His body is shutting down fast. He is tired and wants only to go home to be with his heavenly Father. As we are Baptised, we enter into the tomb of regeneration as children of God. Now, he is ready to enter again, into the 'falling asleep', to rise with Christ. "Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?" 1 Cor. 15:55 Hosea 13:14 "I will ransom them from the power of the grave; I will redeem them from death. Where, O death, are your plagues? Where, O grave, is your destruction? "I will have no compassion, A much brighter note . Here are Ann and Lenny's photos from their Crowning. http://www.photoreflect.com/store/ThumbPage.aspx?r=1&e=8177032In Christ! Rose

Slava Isusu Khrestu
My dear sister in Christ.
I read your words and remember when we too were at that door to eternity with our mother.
I remember asking the Mother of God to hold her for we now ( who could no longer hold on) needed a power greater than ourselves to help and she the Panagia, as a Mother and a daughter of Anna and Joachim, she knows how children worry and how Anna must have worried over Joachim. I know that she did as we had asked. There is no doubt in my mind that she interceded for us to the Lord Jesus for us.
I pray to-day for you and yours at this time and thank you for letting us be a very small part of this journey. For a long time Father Deacon Stan took brave steps and now it is our time to help him on these last few steps.
Dear Rose, thank you for letting us be there even though we are some 1,000's of miles away!
In Slovak we say "S Bohom" which means (Go) With God!
Just me so very unworthy. Nycholaij

Dearest Sister in Christ, My unworthy but humble prayers are with you at this poignant time. May our most blessed Mother of God keep you in her care, comfort you and manifest to you the great love of her Son, our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, for both of you. I am so sorry that you and your beloved husband are going through this right now. Lord have mercy! Alice

Pani Rose:
Praying that the Lord will hold you in the Palm of His Hand at this time and comfort you as Father Deacon Stan translates to our permanent home. Praying that the Mother of God will spread her Protecting Veil over you and your family now and in the days to come.
Praying that whe the Lord's call comes, the Angels may guide Father Deacon Stan to the place where, with Lazarus who once was poor, he may enjoy everlasting life and the reward of his service to Christ and the People of God.
Holy Master, may Your Holy Will be done in all our lives now and ever. Let us marvel at Your Holy Will and Your inscrutible ways as we vigil with Your servant, Father Deacon Stan. Amen.

May the most loving Virgin Mary, Mother of God, the merciful consoler of the afflicted, commend to her Divine Son, the soul of His servant Deacon Stan, so that by the help of her motherly prayers he may not fear the terrors of death, but may in her company enter joyfully the heavenly home for which he now yearns...
My prayers continue for you and Deacon Stan...

In speaking with Father Frank at Bishop Nicholas' enthronement, I inquired about Deacon Stan and one could see the saddness in his face as he spoke of his condition.
Prayers for Deacon Stan, that he be comforted by the presence of his loved ones in these hours, as he waits to be taken into the arms of He Who loves us all beyond any love that we can imagine. May the Holy Protomartyr and Deacon Stephen, Patron of the order of Deacons, stand ready to accept him into the ranks of those who serve now at the Holy Table of Heaven.
Prayers for our dear sister and friend, Pani Rose, and all of Deacon Stan's family, as they watch over him, holding him in their hearts, as they will always in their minds.
