Look at Kosovo -
Destruction of churches is not only common but encouraged.
Many liken the Serbian Residents of Kosovo as living in modern day racial ghettos where their movements are so restrictive that basically they are trapped in their Zone (Nazi Germany?)
YouTube has a pethora of videos showing soldiers descrating Holy and Ancient Churches.
I did a search yesterday and was appalled at the number of churches destroyed while UN forces let the destruction happen while they waited on the side.
Of course the whole world uses Serbia as a scapegoat for 1 bad modern period of religious and cultural tension.
