During the month of October (October 4-11-18-25) come and join us at St. George's Church on Tuesday evenings at 7:00 p.m. for the celebration of the Akathist Hymn to the Mother of God “Healer of Cancer.” We invite all to come who are in need of the healing touch of the Queen of Heaven. The hymns of this particular Akathist Service will console anyone who is suffering from cancer, or who has loved ones that are ill. Would you be willing to share the Akathist Service and hymns that you will use? It would be wonderful if more of our Ukrainian churchs throughout the US & Canada would also offer these prayers during Cancer Awareness Month.

I am currently living in DC attending the theologate (seminary for religious). I also am suffering from Stage 4 Colorectal Cancer.

Could I ask two things?

1) That I be remembered in this service.
