A few weeks ago there were a couple threads regarding the controversy of Humanae Vitae, Pope Paul's encyclical regarding birth control. Here is the opening paragraph: The most popular contraceptive for women in eastern and southern Africa, a hormone shot given every three months, appears to double the risk the women will become infected with H.I.V., according to a large study published Monday. And when it is used by H.I.V.-positive women, their male partners are twice as likely to become infected than if the women had used no contraception.

Other studies show that contraceptives adversely affect women's memories. You won't read much about these stories on Yahoo News or other internet news sites, they are too busy propagandizing "gay rights."

Thank you so much for sharing this information. Most people don't realize how dangerous hormonal contraceptives can be for a woman's health. The studies are abundant; they are not publicized for political reasons.

OF COURSE, the real problem, unless Im branded nwo for life as a Luoon, is that we out too much stock in the supposeldy Rational Ideas of Modernism, which we mistakenlythink are Scientific and Eternally True, over the Mytsical nonsense of the Church.
