Hi all,

Probably can't help but I thought I'd give it a go. I recently went to the Musiam of Russian Icons in Clinton, MA (http://www.museumofrussianicons.org/) and one of the interesting group of pieces were not icons but statues. All of them of a particular Russian saint. St Nil (or Neal).

I've included a hyperlink below to show what one looks like

I've been trying to find a reproduction for my own sacred art collection and am coming up empty. The closest I came was to find a dealer in the US that works with the Sofrino Factory in Moscow, but they stopped making them.

Any idea where I might find one/someone who sells them?

Thanks

The "Smith Kramer" link you posted is of the traveling exhibition. I just attended the exhibition in Knoxville this afternoon, and will have to go back a few more times before it leaves at the end of December. Some of the icons are absolutely captivating. I found myself standing in prayer before one icon of Christ for almost 30 minutes before moving on.

The exhibition is worth seeing if it comes to a city near you.

But, in response to the question, I have no idea were to get a statue of St. Nil.

Thanks anyway.

If you find yourself in Massachusetts, the Museum of Russian Icons. It will be worth it.
