I'm in search of the liturgical texts (vespers & orthros) for the Holy Apostle James, Brother of Saint John the Theologian (30 April) in English and/or Ukrainian. My assorted festal minea don't include this feast, but numerous prayer books do have the tropar and kondak.
I'd be grateful for any help tracking down these texts.

I don't know what your devotion is to St. James, but you should take a look at the Liturgy of St. James. It is very interesting, and though it is pretty rare to come across this liturgy in the byzantine church, it does exist and is in use. New Skete monastery serves a form of this liturgy. Rome printed a church slavonic sluzhebnik for the Liturgy of St. James, so a good argument could be made for its use. I have attended a few of these services and they are really interesting.
If you need ukrainian texts for vespers and matins for his feast day, I could scan or send copies. They are from the KP minea, which uses pretty nice ukrainian.

I have a Ukrainian translation of the Divine Liturgy of St James, prepared by a priest of a certain order, IIRC. Sadly, I have never seen it in use.
I'm a bit out of touch regarding KP publications - only have the 2-vol Festal Minea. I'd be grateful for a copy, even a scan. PM to follow shortly...

The West Syriac Churches (Syrian, Malankara, Maronite) pray a variant of St. James every Sunday. Please visit and pray with us!

We serve the Liturgy of St. James at St. Michael's Russian Catholic Chapel twice a year on his feast days, October 23 and the Sunday after Christmas. You should know that the authorship of this liturgy is attributed to St. James, the Brother of the Lord (Adelphotheos) and not the brother of St. John the Evangelist. Churches of the West Syrian tradition (and the Maronites, I believe) use his liturgy in its Antiochian form, while we serve it in a heavily byzantinized version. The byzantine form is available on line (Anastasis) from Archimandrite Ephrem (Lash).
