Bless Father,

you know what I feel and you know I'm offering prayers - it's not much but it's all I can do and it's done wholeheartedly.

Lord have mercy !

Father bless:

You remain in my daily intercession for clergy of my acquaintance. Prayers for your full recovery that you might continue to serve in the Lord's Vineyard and praise His Holy Name.

Asking for your blessing and holy prayers,

Bob

To the Mods..... do you remember when I came on ByzCath and was instantly placed on moderation? Because of CAF and the mods there seeing me as an "enfant terible" hell bent on proselytizing Catholics.... I hope I have shown that I never was that "enfant terrible." :-)

I have further news .

Surgery is not possible because of his heart problems.

At the end of this month the possibility of radiotherapy and chemotherapy will be discussed but the Multi Displiplinary Team co-ordinating his care are not too happy about this, because of the effects of either / both on him .

In his words :-

Quote
Prayer.... could well overcome all these predictions. Over to you, dear friends.

Lord have mercy

Father,
I will be praying for you, through the intercession of our most graced Mother of God. May she always lead you to Jesus and bring you comfort in this time of affliction.

I have had an e-mail from Father Ambrose.

It has been decided, after further investigations, that treatment is not possible .

Please keep him in your prayers

Yes, I shall continue to keep him in my very unworthy prayers so that he can be spared any pain and suffering.

O most holy Theotokos, look with kindness on the Lord's servant Hieromonk Ambrose. Spread your mantle of compassion on him and intercede on his behalf with your Son, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. May your tender prayers bring to his heart the fullness of hope and peace and may Fr. Ambrose ever be aware of your loving presence.

Prayers for my dear friend and brother, Hieromonk Ambrose, may he be comforted by the prayers of all who know, love, and respect him, may he be spared discomfort and pain, and, if it is God's will, may he be cured of this dread illness and granted many more years in God's service.
