Hi...

I run a small lay catholic website and am interested in obtaining some Byzantine RSS feeds for my site. Is there anyway I can have RSS access to some of the forums on this site? Additionally, does anyone have a list of Byzantine Catholic resources for webmasters?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Bob,

I think - can't swear to it - that someone posted a list of such resources recently. Check the Parish Life & Evangelization forum. It seems to me that, if such were posted elsewhere, that I would have moved it to there. If I find it in the meantime, I'll post a link to it.

As regards RSS feeds, I'll call your post to John's attention, as he can best answer that.

Many years,

Neil

Bob,

I need to go in and set up an RSS feed (or find out the link to the existing one). Please give me the weekend to attend to this.

Thank you very much!

I intend to increase information about the Byzantine rites on my site; and, if enough interest is shown, I'll bring up a stand alone Byzantine Catholic site.

You can see a list of the RSS feeds for daily readings and the variable parts of the Divine Liturgy here: Melkite Daily Readings feeds [melkites.org] .

Matta:

Thank you very much! This is the type of material I am looking for!

I would really like a feed that would provide Eastern Saints for the Day. I've found tons for Western Rite Saints, but nothing for the East. I'm also looking for forum feeds that really capture the Eastern Catholic Rites.

Thanks and God Bless.

Bob,

Here are a few things to possibly get you started:

Directory of Orthodox RSS Feeds [orthodox-christianity.org]

Light of the East [byzantinecatholic.com] - Eastern Catholic Radio

Ancient Faith Radio [ancientfaith.com] - Eastern Orthodox Radio

LoE and AFR are two superb sources of excellent information.

Many years,

Neil
