Christ is Risen!

Dear friends I have a job interview on Monday. It is at a University, actually my Alma Mater. It would be a nice pay raise for me and allow me to support my family better. As many of you know I was recently married (in 2010) and we are getting to the point where starting a family is being discussed. So this new job would help with our planning/decision making.

Thanks for the prayers. (only one downside- I have to shave my beard.)

Dear Nelson,

Truly He is Risen!

Through the miraculous intercessions of St. Xenia of Petersburg (patron of those seeking employment), I pray that all will go well on Monday and that you will get the job you seek...

I will keep on remembering you in prayer to her through Monday--please ask for her intercessions as well.

All the best,
In Christ our Lord--Alice

May all go well for you. What's the sense behind the requirement you shave your beard?

Prayers for my brother and friend, Nelson, that this interview be rewarding and successful for him.

Thanks for the prayers! I am about to get ready to head off for the interview! Also, to answer why I had to shave my beard- the university department that I am applying for has a no facial hair policy. So, I am now beardless...

There is a university department that has a no facial hair policy? That wouldn't fly here. This must be a pretty up tight campus. Prayers for your success.

Glory to God! Thank you dearest St. Xenia of Petersburg, Holy Fool for Christ, and friend of the unemployed for your miraculous intercessions.

All the best of luck in your new job, Nelson! May God bless it!
