Except I don't understand this part of the story:

Quote
At the beginning of the process Cardinal Wyszynski from Poland twice sought to end the process

And then:

Quote
Pope John XXIII restored the process of beatification. But two years later Cardinal Wyszynski again appealed to the Congregation – and the process was halted.

Why was this Polish Cardinal so against the Thrice Blessed Metropolitan Andrey? I know that under the Communist that the Roman Catholics in Poland persecuted the UGCC but was there something else for this particular Cardinal to put so much pressure on Rome to stop Kyr Andrey's beatification?

Bishop Mikhail's remarks give no specific, concrete reason for being optimistic that the beatification will ever take place. But may the Lord grant it.
