I appreciate all your kindness; all your prayers. If only you knew how much I need them!! Today the good Lord granted that I move my mother into an assisted living facility (a very nice one at that)and even if it's allegedly for only a month, maybe she'll come to like it and overcome her reticence about going there permanently.
She gave me life 58 years ago so maybe now I'm getting to give her a chance at a new and better quality of life.
She maintains I tricked her into it (I didn't) but let's hope she gets over that.

Oh, yeah - someone also gave me a copy of the most recent Eli Young Band CD, "Life At Best." I highly recommend it. It & other CW CDs I have make an interesting mix with my Eastern Catholic/Orthodox CDs and assorted Quebecker and Lithuanian-language pop music CDs I listen to.

Happy birthday to my friend and brother (belatedly, as I play catch-up after a bit of vacation). May God grant you many more years in health and happiness.
Prayers also for your Mom as she struggles with the fears and uncertainties of feeling less in control of her life - not easy for any of us, in the best of times.
