Please pray for healing for Fr. Sid Sidor, pastor of St. Athanasius Byzantine Catholic Church in Indianapolis, Indiana. He is recovering from complications due to a blocked bile duct and enlarged pancreas.

Prayer for Fr Sid; may God grant him many healthy years.

So that I can inform his brother-in-law DeVere, does Father expect full recovery?

Yes, full recovery is probable, once his jaundice goes away.

May the Lord's servant, Father Sid, be healed of these concerns and may God grant him many more years in His service.

I just learned today that Fr. Sid has an inoperable tumor that is keeping his internal organs from functioning correctly. He may have only a few weeks to live. He is in Indianapolis Jewish Home on Hoover Rd. and 70th Street. Please pray for God's will. Bishop John of Parma Eparchy will be in Indianapolis on Wednesday, August 15 to celebrate Divine Liturgy for the Dormition at 6 p.m. at St. Athanasius on Blaine Ave. He will annoint Fr. Sid beforehand. Please attend if you are in the area.

No, this is a different Father Sidor. This Father Sidney Sidor's parents emigrated to Pennsylvania in the 1895 -1915 period.

Just had word that Father Sid fell asleep in the Lord about an hour ago.

In blessed repose, grant, O Lord, eternal rest to Your priestly servant, Sid, and may his memory be eternal.
