Christ is in our midst!!

Very often young parents have their hands full with jobs, home repairs, child guidance, etc. It often leave little time for prayer. Been there; know firsthand how that works.

Many years ago--seems like a lifetime--one of my wife's cousins answered a question from her elderly mother who wondered what good she was after he children were raised. The answer was that she had more time for prayer than my wife and me and so she should lift us up in prayer when she had the quiet time to do so. Sort of a take-off on the Communion of Saints--we lift each other up and go it together.

I would like to have names of young parents on this board who could use this type of uplift. My children are now 34 and 29 so I have the time. Please send me a pm if you would like to be on my list of parents with young children who could use an extra prayer remembrance each day. Completely confidential.

Bob

This is a great idea, my wife, Kathryn, and I could always use some more prayers! Especially with 2 kids under 2!

Hold tight to this Scripture, God is faithful, and true. YOU are busy raising His little ones. He is taking care of you too

The LORD, your God, is in your midst, a warrior who gives victory; he will rejoice over you with gladness, he will renew you in his love.   (Zephaniah 3:17)   ‎. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit,' says Yahweh Sabaoth" (Zach 4:6)
