My time at the General Retreat of the Society of the Holy Trinity (see other topic) was weighted down by learning that my wife had suddenly developed a "female problem" about two hours after I started the westbound journey on Monday, leading to an ultrasound on Wednesday and a visit to a specialist for a uterine biopsy on Thursday.
We are now awaiting the results--the specialist said this may take until the end of next week.
One of her aunts had uterine cancer a decade ago and has survived into her 90's; so we are cautiously optimistic, if indeed there is cancer.
Jan, some may recall, suffered a sudden syncopal episode last November--we will never know if that was a TIA, a "complext migraine", a combination, or something else.

Prayers for Jan's health and well-being, that the biopsy results are favorable, and that God grant her many years. Prayers also for our dear friend and brother, Pastor Thomas, as he waits with his beloved wife for news.

The biopsy was negative.
There is no cancer.
No procedures or surgeries are needed, but we must be watchful.
God is good.
