Dear Forum Friends in Christ,
I hesitate to ask, but in your spiritual charity could you please say a prayer for my mother Jeannette, 78 years old, who is having surgery on Wednesday October 10 to remove her gallbladder and a large mass within it.
I pray for God's mercy that it is not cancerous, and that the surgery will be successful.

Prayers for the Lord's handmaiden, Jeannette, that her doctors be guided by the Unmercenary Physicians, Cosmas and Damien, that her surgery be uneventful, that the mass be found to be benign, and that her recovery be swift and complete. Prayers also for our friend and sister, Alice, that she and her family be comforted in this time of stress.

Thank you all so much! I just got back from an exhausting day at the hospital. My mother's surgery went very well-no complications, and the doctor said that from what he can tell, the 'polyp' is not cancerous.
Thank God! Thank you all! Thank you St.Nektarios, the heavenly wonder worker!
I will be back soon.....
