Hi all,
I have been diagnosed with rising liver blood test numbers and have been VERY anxious about further tests. They've ruled out viral hepatitis and cancer. They have also ultrasounded my liver and discovered that it is fatty and that I have gallstones. They also discovered I test positive for ANA (autoimmune) and are currently running my blood for autoimmune hepatitis. I pray that I do not have this disease or something worse. Please pray for me as I'm going nuts waiting for bloodwork results to come back.

Thank you to all those who prayed for me. So far, decent results on the tests. No positive tests for autoimmune. I am going to be scheduled for a biopsy to make sure that it is not anything worse than what the doctor believes it is already (NASH--a development of fatty liver, which can be halted or even reversed through diet and exercise). Keep praying, please.

Prayers for my brother and friend, Chris, that his doctors be guided by the Holy Unmercenary Physicians, that he be found free of any significant illness, and that God grant him many years.

The biopsy results were at least one stage ahead of what I think I had. I am a stone's throw away from cirrhosis, but my doctor states that I can halt it if I nip it in the bud now with diet and exercise. Pray for me please.
