To think that 8 years ago someone on this Forum took me to task for remarking about Islam in Iraq as I saw it. Maybe by now they have a better picture.

Alexandr kindly sent me the link to the MEMRI TV photo posted in this thread. While I do not support his taking a personal jab at our current president with the names he has posted, I do think it important that Christians know of the persecution that has begun and continues to our brethren in that region--a persecution that our media has ignored. I only wonder what would be the reaction in this country if this image were shown on the nightly news tomorrow evening.

That said, I believe that it may be soon time to close this thread, though it has been very educational to learn what Paul harvey used to call "the rest of the story."
