After watching yesterday's debate on the Foreign Policy, I'm wondering what you think about Mittie's chances after everything that's been heard? I almost thought there were times when Mitt wound up being Obama's teacher in Foreign Policy 101 instead of being his rival in the debate. Kind of like during the first debate, where Mitt took Obama to Economics 101 class.

Neither gave what I would consider a master class, but Romney was definitely stronger, and more importantly, appeared to be mature, prudent and presidential. Obama, not so much.

You're right about that one. Let's hope these results will wind up in our favor in another two weeks from now.

On the eve of the election ... predictions?

Catholic Vote preditions?

How many Catholics will vote their religious beliefs?

Well, I'm hoping that there'll be those Churches that hold Vespers during the evening of Election Night, so we can pray for the counts to come into the favor of the Church. I'm definitely hoping that people will indeed smarten up this time, and realize what's at stake if they vote one way or the other. With polls in a virtual tie, it's hard to tell who gets the popular vote, and who gets the first to 270 Electoral Voting Points.

Romney will win Tennessee, and there was never any doubt about that. The Catholic vote is not relevant, since it is an overwhelmingly Protestant state. I can't predict what will happen anywhere else.

Well, my state is the most crucial, so I'm praying that the Christian Vote will prevail over the minority and union votes around here.

Oh, I voted by mail a few weeks back, and voted GOP the whole ballot up and down, don't worry about me. It's others besides me that are voting at the last minute that I'm praying will do the right thing.

I personally cannot wait for the election to be over.

I had a severe attack of polemics in my life this year - in both politics and religion. I was judging everyone but myself.

Now - hopefully in humility - my goal is to eliminate as much polemic garbage from my life as possible. It is not an accident that in our communion prayer we state "Who came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am the first"

I saw some videos with Pope Benedict stating that Protestantism may have started with one or twe heretics or heretical ideas but that NOW they are not heretical - an amazing statement if you think about it - he went on to say that Protestants have added value to Christianity (and implied that their religions were every bit as valid as Catholicism).

If I can approach all my brothers and sisters in this way it will be a tremendous change in my life - a miracle!

Pray for me - Pray for the Nation - Pray for those who have opposing views (on both sides of the equation) - after all we are Americans First - Christians First not Dem or Rep.

Please consider supporting Pro - Life legislation no matter what party you belong to

Au contraire, Boehner has his mandate, on a collision with Obama's, with Ryan in charge of the Budget (he's the chairman still, he won his seat again), Senate hearings on Benghazigate etc. and a lame duck session with bigger majorities next Congress....it's just begun.

All I can tell you is, I'm not sure what this will mean for the future of Eastern Christianity in America, but I can tell you that it was well worth fighting for, only to suffer defeat at the end. The best we can hope for is that the HHS won't impact our guarantee Constitutional Freedoms, we prayed as hard as we could to defend it, and place people in Washington that understood our beliefs to the utmost respect. Guess we'd better pack our bags and head to a country where we won't be suffering this persecution... Although I doubt there'd be any escape from it this time. frown

Yes, we must all be prepared for more of the same. The voters of the United States voted for the government they deserve; they will have to live with the results. Unfortunately, those of us who could see through the smoke screen will also have to live with the results we do not deserve. So be it.

The assaults on personal liberty will continue unabated. The regime will no doubtedly continue on the identical path to garner power and impose their ideology on the rest of us.

Could you specify which of your personal liberties are under assault from this administration, and how anyone else's ideology has been imposed upon you? Those are pretty serious charges you make.
