In your charity, please remember my cousin, Lillian, who reposed in the Lord this morning at the age of 88 after suffering for the past few years with Alzheimer's.

When I was growing up, Lillian was the one who provided comfort, a sympathetic ear, and a place of refuge to all of the younger (and, often, the older as well) family members when Irish tempers flared on the home front and a bit of distance was needed. She never judged, never criticized, never took sides - she just was there for all of us. She'll be very much missed.

May the memory of the Lord's handmaiden, Lillian, be eternal and may her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren be comforted by the thought that she is at peace and no longer suffering.
