Good Evening:
Christos Posredi Nas!
I am trying to find out if books written by Archbishop Raya are suitable for Catholics of the Ukrainian Rite? I know that he is an acclaimed author and very deeply spiritual man. I am wondering if his books are more suited for those of the Melkite Rite. I do know that there are similarities between the two Rites. Any assistance/advice is most appreciated.

His books are most certainly suitable for Ukrainian Catholics. Ukrainian and Melkite Catholics use the same liturgical Rite (Byzantine), albeit with different translations and some minor local variations.

So is the Ruthenian Church, even though the Metropolitan of Pittsburgh likes to reinvent the wheel of the DL, a book like this would still be valid.

Y'all are certainly correct. Sayedna Raya's books are suitable for EVERYONE! I believe folks would get the most out of them if they participate in the Byzantine liturgical tradition (be that with the Melkites, Ukrainians, Russians, Carpatho-Russyns, Romanians, etc., etc., etc.), but his books are great for anyone interested. They also act as a wonderful introduction to the theology and spirituality of the Byzantine East.
