Hello,
I am a Catholic of the Western Church, and I was wondering what is the correct way to identify myself? Roman rite, Latin Rite, Roman Catholic? Etc what did the early Christians of the West identify themselves?
Thanks God Bless

They called themselves Christians.
Terms such as Latin Rite, Roman Catholic, Russian Orthodox, etc only make sense in the context of a divided body of Christians, and more specifically only after the Council of Florence which is when the divided body of Christ first really began to be accustomed to being divided and thinking of the other parts of the division as having a different faith.

This is true. Much like whether we call ourselves Eastern Catholics, Greek Catholics, Byzantine Catholics, whatever, those all work to a point, depending on which branch of the Eastern Rite one hails from, considering the 20+ Churches we have.

Latin,
When you are talking to people outside the Roman Church, Latin Rite, Roman Rite, Latin Catholic, Roman Catholic are mostly interchangeable, in my opinion.
