Couple things to note:
- Irish Melkite's New York City Divine Liturgy schedule excludes the 4 PM Sunday Divine Liturgy at St. George's UGCC.
- St. Mary's Ruthenian Byzantine's regular schedule is 10 AM Sunday, as noted, but this can change, so you should always call AND email ahead. (Fr. is responsible for FIVE parishes!)
- Long Island City is in the New York City borough of Queens, only one subway stop away from Manhattan. It is not "on Long Island" in the sense that most people think of Long Island.

Andrew,

Thanks for the pick-up on St George's - not sure how I missed that.

As you note LI City is indeed near Manhattan and if you go the route of using public transport, there are a few other churches that could be listed, but I'll readily admit that my own familiarity with the boroughs and the subway system - or lack thereof - discouraged me from wandering too far afield from what was asked.

Many years,

Neil

At St. Michael's Russian Catholic Chapel we serve the Divine Liturgy in both English (70%) and Old Church Slavonic (30%) with the gospel chanted in both English and Modern Russian.Sometimes we use more OCS if the number of our Russian parishioners in attendance warrants. Sermon in English. Saturday night Vespers is entirely in English. No need to worry about the absence of pews. There are always folding chairs for those who need them. You are most welcome!
