I think that expression is: inquiring minds want to know but it is okay.. because wandering minds fits the nature of our fun posts here. Whoops, now... where was I? wink biggrin smile

Perhaps it was.

Perhaps this thread - really - does not exist.

As some one said a bit back up the hill - "this thread is a state of mind". ... or was it "this thread is a friend of mine." I am not sure now. You know how thick accents can be.

Now I guess I will just have to pull on this thread backwards to find that knot again.

Good gravy Marie!!! (as my sainted grandmother never used to say) - I had no idea this topic would generate so much heat!!
Or as we used to say as kids, "Good golly, Miss Molly..."

This whole thing is holding on by a thread...

You have it right, Diak.

I remember a description of the Icon of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, which said that we are all in the Icon.

We are the shoe, attached to the Lord by a shoestring.

I think the word you're all looking for is "INFLATE" - as in, "Why the h-e-double-toothpicks does this thread continue to INFLATE??" wink

Now you gone and done it!

No matter what, there is always someone in the crowd who has to ask the metaphysical question.

The question should not be one simply of whether it exists or not, but WHY it exists? Our questions should lead to the ultimate question of the meaning of it all.

I love this forum. It is the only place I have found (besides the pet forum I belong to :p ) where one can get VERY serious and one can get VERY unserious and it is OKAY. wink

Happy posting trails, biggrin
