I cannot seem to define which is the official version that is read from when reading the epistles, etc at the DL in the Byzantine Catholic Church (Ruthenian). Can anyone help?

The Ruthenians use a lectionary Gospel and Apostol based on the NAB, though just which version of the NAB I can't tell you. Melkites, on the other hand, seem to use whatever version the celebrant or reader prefers, or which happens to by laying around--though none that I have noticed seem to favor the NAB. And anything which restricts the use of the NAB is, in my opinion, a Good Thing.

The Byantine Seminary Press Gospel and Epistle books use the original 1970 NAB. The Alleluia Press Gospel and Epistle books use the Confraternity Version, as did the book of readings arranged by Fr. Grigassy of which a few copies are still floating around. I suspect these would be the most commonly encountered translations. Orthodox use the KJV, NKJV, and RSV.

I have a 1970 NAB Bible that is looking for a home now that I have finished with it.

Bob,
I would be happy to take your NAB 1970 version. That one I do not have.
