I've searched the Internet and have not been able to find a site that will email a person the full set of Byzantine Daily Readings every day. Does anyone know if one exists?

I too would be interested in receiving any such daily readings--assuming they exist. Thank you.

Eastern Christian Publications offers a daily email service called the "Byzantine Daily Office", or BDO for short, for just $7.50/month or 25 cents per day. We send every evening at 10 pm EST the Daily Office for the next day, in three files for three levels of devotion:

Complete -- Morning and Evening Prayer, and the four Hours in complete form
Lite -- Morning and Evening Prayer shortened with only 1 of the several optional prayers, and the Sixth Hour (for noon) with only 1 of the 3 psalsm
Propers -- the changeable parts for each of the four Hours for each day of the liturgical calendar

On the front page, we give the scripture readings for the day.

Now, during Lent, the Hours do not change much because they follow a Lenten format (during the rest of the year there are changeable prayers for each day of the week, festal season, and saint of the day). The only changes now are during the Sixth hour.

You can find more information, some samples, and order an ongoing subscription at:

PS. Sorry, we only give the scripture references, not the full text, because of copyright and translation complications.

Thank you for the information Jack. It looks good. I will present it to my group and see what they want to do.

Thank you again for your help,
Kathleen

melkites.org/en/readings will give you the readings for the Melkite Church.
They are mostly the same for the other Byzantine Churches.
You can email readings@melkites.org to subscribe.
