I posted this elsewhere online a couple weeks ago, and it was suggested that I would get better answers here.

I'm exploring labeling issues in the context of a predominantly Roman Catholic website and the impact it has on involvement. I am looking for a sample population and hope you can assist.

1. As Eastern Catholics, have you ever had an issue with people being confused by your posts because you are Eastern rather than Western/Roman? (Y/N)

2. Would being labeled an Eastern Christian rather than labeled general (dominantly Roman Catholic) user have any impact on your interest/participation in such a site? (Y/N)

There is a polling option - which might be more useful to you if you want numbers of Y/N versus narrative (plus you'll possibly get responses from lurkers who don't choose to post textually).

I am not sure I have the option to do a clickable poll that way. I just looked, and I did not see it.

Sorry to be so long getting back to you on this. Checking with John, our Administrator, the polling option is only functional in the Town Hall forum. If you start a new thread on this topic over there, you'll discover the option link below the dialogue box. I'm hoping you will, because I suspect that, as a poll, it will get some responses and I'm looking forward to seeing those.
