Does anyone know the name of the Greek Deacon who chanted at the Papal Mass yesterday?

EWTN's coverage of the Papal Inauguration left a great deal to be desired. Not only did they not give accurate information, but the camera focused much too often on the Cardinals and crowds in the plaza rather than on the Ecumenical Patriarch, the Orthodox and Protestant hierarchy and clergy, representatives of the many countries who traveled long distances, etc. Spokespersons immediately before the Inauguration stressed the vast importance of the Ecumenical Patriarch's attendance [first time in one thousand years] yet nowhere could he be found by EWTN's cameras. How unfortunate!

During the Eucharistic Prayer they also gave the name of the Maronite Patriarch as a concelebrant when it was actually His Beautitude Antonios, Patriarch Emeritus of the Copts.

As I said elsewhere Salt and Light gave good coverage - a minimum of talk and what there was was not actually intrusive.
I was, I'll admit, disappointed in their coverage of the meeting today with the Fraternal Delegates - we saw the Orthodox Delegates greeting the Holy Father , but none of the others.
The EP gave an excellent address at the commencement of the broadcast, in Italian.

And he's certainly not Greek Fr. Deacon Walter (Volodymyr) was born and raised within our UGCC Eparchy in Brazil. So as Anhelyna said, certainly not Greek. He came to St. Basil's in Stamford after my class had finished and was ordained to the diaconate by Vladyka +Paul of Stamford in 2011.
