I went to an Episcopal Church service the other day - WHAT A DIFFERENCE - the people are interested in you - spend time with you - pay attention to you - Smile, laugh, talk about God,kids, job FRIENDLY IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT and it's infectious from the Pastor on down
(high class, polite, manners, and proper etiquette - The Anglican way - God they are just NICE PEOPLE PERIOD)
Does anyone ever get greeted like that in our Byzcath churches?
I just wanted to share that I had what was probably the warmest welcome I've ever received in any Catholic Church a few weeks back at a nearby Ruthenian parish. It was a tiny community by Roman standards, but pretty big for the family that it seemed to be. I was invited to join them after mass for a light dinner in their hall--they really insisted.
I felt as if I were some visiting cousin that they had never met. They seemed genuinely thrilled I was there.
